Awful fanfiction-episode things that will NEVER BE AIRED... EVER

I hate to bring it to my younger self, but the truth's the truth...

To reward myself for finishing my finals (I just have to wait for one more dang teacher to update my grades), I decided to go through some of my old sketchbooks that were saved from when I was a lot younger. In one of my composition books, I wrote a bunch of made-up "episodes" featuring some of my original characters (along with those in some of the first fandoms I was in)!

If you had a similar childhood to me, you'll know the joy of flipping to your favorite cartoon channel on TV and watching your favorite show for hours upon hours.
What I also liked to do was read the descriptions of each show that was airing! Weird, I know, but hey, it inspired me to make my own little episodes.

If you remember "Neko Academy" from my previous posts, you'll know that when I was very young (like 6-10 years old young), I liked to draw (mostly) cat people! Well, these fake episodes just so happen to revolve around them, and I've got the awful art to prove it.

FYI: I don't know the exact year I made these, but they were definitely before I turned ten years old. I'd probably say I was about 6-8 when I made these.

"Childhood Trouble; Spike's Craft" Animation. (1961) Spike reaveals [sic.] the childhood time; Young Spike meets young Mary.

First up on the chopping block! I guess this was a series I made up called "Spike the Dog", which I want to say was named after a "Tom and Jerry" character????? I don't know, but if it was supposed to be him, then in true little Maddy fashion, I didn't make him look like his canon counterpart AT ALL.
If this was meant to be aired in "1961", then WOW. The animation/art quality of that time would have surely dropped.
What does he mean by "childhood time"? His own childhood? The childhood of one of those other characters? Which one is Mary, that dog with the bow or that cat creature with the weird triangle hair (it could be the cat, actually - she appears to have something like "Mary" written on her dress-skirt thing)?
Also, why do they have human-like noses when they're supposed to be anthro animals??

"Big Diner's Thanksgiving special; Allie gets the Blues" Dogland's Big Diner has a Thanksgiving Speciality; Failing a game causes Allie to get the blues.

Hey, look, another character! I think she was present in the last drawing. So what she has is basically blue chickenpox??
Also, what's up with that diner's sign?? Is it supposed to be a map, or is it one of those light-up signs that are basically just outlines when it's daytime?
Great correlation, by the way: losing a game causes you to get sick. Yup, totally believable.

"Easter Mouse; Saturday night Tom" Animation. Jerry sticks himself in an egg; Tom invites Mr. Opus, Carla, and Kathy to a party.

Ah yes, Tom and Jerry! Probably the very first fandom I got into.
First of all, I don't know what gave Jerry the idea to do that.
Second of all, I don't know who Mr. Opus, Carla, and Kathy are. I'm pretty sure they didn't even exist in the original show.
Third of all, is Jerry mad at Tom for not inviting him to this party thing, or is he ticked off because the party's too loud or something, and he's trying to sleep? Because yeah, I'd be mad too, Jerry.

"The Cracker Snachers [sic.]; Ameoba [sic.] Tag" Comedy. (2007) Jake the evil dog teams up with his family to take the cat cracker's secret formula; Mr. Blik collects under-sea ameoba [sic.].

Okay, this one is meant to be based on "Catscratch", a Nickelodeon show I used to watch back in the day. In my fanfiction thing, the character Gordon was actually ELIMINATED and replaced with my OC, "Gina". Yeah, I don't know why.
That aside, I'm pretty sure the "Cracker Snatchers" episode is a blatant ripoff of that one SpongeBob episode where Plankton gets his hillbilly family together to try to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula.
Did Mr. Blik in the original show have an interest in amoeba of all things?? I don't know (but I'm 99% sure he didn't)...

"Reporting Technology; Run Down Track" Animation. (1962) The kittens cannot report their papers when Tanya sleeps over; The kittens run out of control.

I don't know why I didn't say this before, but can someone correct little Maddy's formatting of the parentheses?? The period goes after the parentheses... *eye roll*
Anyway, this one was supposed to be based on Disney's 1970 film "The Aristocats" (so little Maddy was eight years short here). I don't know who "Tanya" is (probably an OC), but otherwise, nothing really to mention here.
Yes, the other three are supposed to be Berlioz, Toulouse, and Marie from the original film. The accuracy is off the charts.

"Daisie's Fire Engine; Daisie and Dorothy" Animation, Comedy. Daisie watchs [sic.] a movie; Dorothy visits.

Another original series! This was supposed to be "Pho and Mia", made up of entirely original characters.
Please don't ask why Daisie had this huge set of braces, it was just supposed to be her defining character trait. You know, one of the most important tropes of character creation? Everyone knows it. /s

"The Icy Fairy; Died in childhood" Animation, Comedy. Book about fairies; Dorothy visits St. Anistasia (spell check?)'s Cemetery.

Oh yeah, this was the era where I was oddly obsessed with death for some reason?? I vaguely remember being especially fascinated with Rosalina Lombardo for some reason (you know, the dead child in the catacombs of Palermo).
Also, I'm almost convinced that Dorothy was meant to be kind of my self insert/"fan favorite" character in this universe.

"Cat-roscope; Magic Tricks" Animation. Tom buys a telescope; Jerry buys a magic case.

Does anyone remember "Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring"? I'm pretty sure that was the only T&J film I owned as a DVD (I'm not sure if I had any other DVDs of this show).
Yeah, connect the dots to what inspired these fake episodes.
Don't ask who that ugly face or the girl cat behind the counter are, I sure don't know.

"Crack the Code; Bushed on daisies" Animation, Comedy. The clowder tries to crack the code of the mystery girl and her death; The clowder visits the cemetery to find the mystery girl.

Back to the "Pho and Mia" series! Here, we set yet another example of my weird fascination with death during this time. Knowing Dorothy was previously seen in this cemetery (I'm assuming it's "Saint Anistasia" - why did I spell it like this??), that "mystery girl" probably is connected to her in some way.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure there was a whole SpongeBob episode (or two? I don't know, I haven't watched that show in a long time) that had something to do with the characters going into a cemetery, so I wouldn't be surprised if "Pho and Mia" heavily borrowed (actually, more like ripped off) elements from that show.
By the way, I'm pretty sure "bushed on daisies" is a mishearing of "pushing up daisies"; you know, the euphemism for being dead and buried? I'm pretty sure that was something said from SpongeBob, too.

"Doodleberry Fever; The Blue, Blue, West" Animation, Comedy. Daisie transforms into a doodleberry after falling to sleep at 3:00 PM; The clowder travels in the old west - the mystery girl's lifetime before she died.

Okay, don't call the FBI, but... Blue Daisie isn't wearing any clothes.
BUT!... Give me the benefit of the doubt: I was like no more than ten years old when I drew this, not an adult, like I am now. Technically not illegal, right?
What kind of in-universe rules are these, eating something and then falling asleep at a certain time (in the afternoon, no less) turns you blue??
Also, here's another appearance of the "mystery girl"! Apparently, she lived during the "old west"...

"Jana's lips; As Brave for Stupid" Animation, Comedy. Everyone hates Jana; Dorothy pretends to be a crazy kid.

I don't know about you, but something about this particular pair of episodes tells me that I just ran out of ideas at this point.
Just as Daisie's defining physical features were her huge smile and braces, Jana's happened to be her huge lips that probably rivaled Kylie Jenner's. I mean, yeah, she looked doofy, but did that really justify turning her into a punching bag that got made fun of all the time?? I swear that's how I portrayed her back in the day.
I also swear that Daisie was supposed to be the "crazy kid" of a group, why would Dorothy ever want to be like her?

"Big Hair; Ketchup Kat" Animation, Comedy. Dorothy wishes for an auto-grow hair machine; Daisie and Jana invent their own colored ketchup.

Hey, you know something I've been wondering about? Where the heck are all the episodes featuring Pho and Mia, you know, the CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN THE FREAKING TITLE OF THIS "SERIES"? They were actual canonical characters (based on real-life cats) while Jana, Dorothy, and Daisie were just OCs. This "series" was literally just plugging MY OWN CHARACTERS, for frick's sake.

"Catsdale Dating; Evil girl" Animation, Comedy. Dorothy helps Pho date; Jana becomes an evil babysiter [sic.].

Oh, there's Pho, at least. I answered my comment in the previous picture.
Notice that in addition to SpongeBob, this "series" also rips off The Fairly OddParents: there's an evil babysitter (like Vicky in the show) and the... town? City? Well, wherever these characters live is called "Catsdale" (Dimmsdale, anyone?)
Also, aren't these characters supposed to be literal children? Why are they dating????

"Colored Code; Jana's!" Animation, Comedy. A code accident leaves Daisie in the hospital; Jana Tentacles' door is shut with a secret code.

I shouldn't have made myself snicker so hard, but I can't help imagining that messing with the code on Jana's door was what landed Daisie in the hospital.
Also, I believe I discussed this in a previous post, but Jana's last name is an obvious ripoff of Squidward's. Yeah, yet another example of me running out of ideas and resorting to blatantly copying from shows I watched back in the day.

"Stinky Burgers; The Dating Story" Animation, Comedy. At Bella's Burgers" (where's the beginning quotation?), A blue burger is served; Dorothy searches for the perfect rich girl for Pho.

Ten bucks this "episode" is ripping off that one SpongeBob episode where they make a nasty patty.
I'm noticing several motifs at this point: one, the trope of blue-colored food items causing something bad. Two, the apparent need for Pho to date someone (and the fact that Dorothy, out of all the other characters, is the matchmaker).
WHERE ARE MY GIRL MIA'S EPISODES???

"Catgloss; The Long Letter" Animation. Mandy buys catgloss; An evil realitive [sic.] of Tom decides to pay his parents a visit.

Oh, never mind, we're interrupting the "Pho and Mia" episodes to bring you some more "Tom and Jerry" fanfic episodes!
And just like the "Pho and Mia" episodes, we see most of the spotlight being given to original characters rather than canon characters... (it was mentioned before in that same previous post, but Mandy was supposed to be Tom's girlfriend/wife).

Oh, what does that letter thing say...?

Dear Tom,
I decided to pay your parents a visit. I'm going to do the same thing with your sister, Darla (?), will die. Okay. I'm finished.
- Nicky

WAIT, TOM HAS A SISTER??? WHO'S "NICKY/VICKY" AND HOW ARE THEY RELATED TO TOM??????
How much do you want to bet this is never addressed?

"The Big News; No Thanks" Animation. A newborn kitty is on the way; Tom forgets about saying "Thank you" at Thanksgiving Dinner.

Okay, confession time: I don't know if I mentioned this already, but this was the phase where I was oddly obsessed with pregnancy?? Yeah, kill me already. Give me the benefit of the doubt, though, don't kids have the weirdest interests??
We totally know who that character on the far left is because her name's written on her skirt. Who the couple are, that's another story.

"Evil Babysitter; G.I.R.L.S." Animation, Comedy. Jana becomes evil; Girl's Poem.

Back to the "Pho and Mia" episodes!
Wait, didn't Jana turn "evil" in like, a previous episode? Why is it always her??
Also, gotta love that poem: "Gorgeous, Incredible, Red, Laughter, Smile"... wait, red??? Girls are red??????
Written by "Amika Lana", apparently.

"Fever; Antics" Animation, Comedy. Daisie transforms into a doodleberry; Pho lets go of his script.

Again, Daisie?? Don't tell me this is yet another "running gag".
Is that Pho's script on the left?

"I love flowers, pretty pretty flowers, oh, I love flowers."

I mean... to me, it sounds like a no brainer. I wouldn't be upset if I lost that script, and you shouldn't be, either, Pho.

"Cheese and Crackers; I surrender" Animation, Comedy. Jana becomes evil after she is sprayed with cheese; Dorothy holds up a flag for hopes that she will pass away.

Jana becoming evil for no reason counter +1. Because of cheese, too?? Why???
I'm more and more convinced Dorothy was meant to be kind of a self insert - she has my odd fascination with death at that time, too.
Wait, isn't the "I surrender" flag supposed to be white, not blue??

"Bad Fools; Tail Pain" Animation. Tom plays a mean trick on Jerry during a visit to the Krusty Kat; Jerry suddenly gets rushed to the hospital.

Man, we're switching between the Tom and Jerry & Pho and Mia episodes like:

We have a two-in-one SpongeBob ripoff here: I'm almost certain the "Bad Fools" episode is a knockoff of SpongeBob's own April Fools special, and the "Krusty Kat" is an obvious Krusty Krab clone.
Hmm, I think I'm connecting the dots to how exactly Jerry ended up in the hospital...

"Slipped; He was gone" Animation. Jerry sends Bella to the hospital for emergency medicine; Tom breaks his tail while sledding.

I sense another motif with everyone being sent to the hospital or injured in some way...
Also, I'm confused: did Jerry just ask Bella to go to the hospital to... I don't know, pick up a prescription for "emergency medicine", or did he do something malicious that ended up sending his sister/girlfriend/wife to the hospital instead?

"Spring Fever; Too much of a Doodleberry" Animation. Things that happen in Spring; Jerry must search for more doodleberries after he eats all the ones Tom gives him.

So... "doodleberries" are canon in this Tom and Jerry universe too? Regardless, Jerry better watch out in case he ends up turning into a doodleberry himself.

"Stamps; Life Saver" Animation. Mandy buys stamps; Jerry and Bella are forced to go to Dogland to retrieve Tom's hat.

Oh, hey, crossover episode! Yeah, remember the "Spike the Dog" episodes way back in the beginning? I forgot about that, too.
We also see another example of Mandy's compulsive shopping spree here (remember when she bought "catgloss" in a previous episode?). Notice that she might have also splurged a bit for... *ahem* implants...

"Bathtime; Something Smells" Animation. Cleo's powers cause Mandy to get into misheif [sic.]; Tom creates blue sundae.

Not only are we continuing the pattern of blue food causing problems, but we have another character who is a complete knockoff of an existing one! Cleo happens to be a blatant ripoff of "Poof" from "Fairly OddParents".

"Baby Boost-up; Attack of the 500-foot puppy" Animation. Jerry enters Cleo in a competition; Tom adopts a nerdy puppy.

First of all, Tom adopted a demon.
Second of all, why wasn't it Tom who entered Cleo into that contest instead of Jerry? I mean, she's a cat like he is. Is she even related to him in some way??

"Goldie and Goldie; Blue Manual" Animation. Goldie and her pet, Goldy, the cat(,?) cause mishief [sic.]; Tom throws away a kitten manual.

So the title of the episode is wrong, then: it's *Goldy, not "Goldie"...
Also, is this the same Goldie that appeared as a baby in the previous pair of episodes? And is this a weird Disney situation where anthro animals can own pet animals???

"Chat; The Club" Animation, Comedy. Mia chats on the computer; Daisie, Jana, Pho, and Mia taunt Dorothy about a club.

Back to the Pho and Mia episodes!
Looks like Mia finally got her time to shine, and... wait. Is that who I think it is? iCarly??? The legend herself!? MIA GOT INTO CONTACT WITH CARLY SHAY FROM THE WEBSHOW???? WTF LUCKY. Who's "Cla0t0"?
Guess what the "club" episode is ripping off. That's right, a SpongeBob episode (specifically, the one where SpongeBob and Patrick have their own secret club and don't want to let Squidward join)!

"Lullaby; Suds" Animation. Cleo's powers create a "lullaby nightmare"; Toots, Tom's cousin, must take him to the hospital to cure his sickness.

Am I allowed to call it? Will Cleo be an honorary member of my Mary Sue Pantheon??
Seriously, she's only a baby and she has magical powers that are able to alter dreams and mess around with people?? How did she even get said powers??? I mean, I know she's a knockoff of Poof from "Fairly OddParents" and he's a baby, too, but for frick's sake, he was a FAIRY BABY. At least his powers are explained in some way!

"The Two Faces of the cat" Animation. Tom is rushed to the hospital after Jerry terribly crushes his face with the door during a visit to the Krusty Kat.

Oh, look, our very first TV movie special episode thing!
And guess what: TO NO ONE'S SURPRISE, IT'S ANOTHER COMPLETE SPONGEBOB KNOCKOFF!
Specifically, it's played off the episode where SpongeBob slams Squidward's face against a door and turns him handsome. Ironically, I don't think the original episode was even a TV special.

"File Book; 300 years later" Animation. Alice's book; The Future.

Those are some SHORT episode synopses - like the shortest I've seen so far!
Yet again, referencing my previous Neko Academy post, "Alice" is supposedly the daughter (probably oldest child?) of Tom and Mandy. I don't know why she's supposedly keeping a "file book", but it clearly just looks like a diary to me.
Apparently, she signed it as "Alice Bluebonnet", and I believe that name references an old film from a Disney movie I watched back in the day.
Hey, year check! the entries are dated 2008, so this confirms this whole entire book of episodes was written around 2008 (I would have been exactly or about to turn eight years old)!

Let's see if I can figure out what these entries are saying...

11-10-08:
Alice here! Welcome to my file book. Here my words.
Did you... leave an "are" somewhere, little me?

11-2008:
Welcome back. When you see a bat stamp, I did good.
Did I forget to write a month/date somewhere??
Oh yeah, the bat stamp, I forgot to point that out. Not sure where that came from... did I get it from school??

12-11-08:
I know, I know. Christmas has pass.
**-ed
Do you not know your holidays, little me? Christmas is on the 25th, so it hasn't passed "yet".

Look at the date!
11-30-08
Yup, yup, I see the date. That's a nice date.
Wait, wait, is it supposed to be December or November??

11-23-08:
Are you back? I hope. Did you know I had a good day?
Oh, I think I get why Alice calls this thing her "files" and not her diary. She legit WANTS someone to pick this up and read through it!

11-25-08:
Nice job reading my file book. Love it! Great.

"Krusty Tom; Blackened Mouse" Animation. Tom applies a job for the Krusty Kat; Jerry accidentally gives himself a black eye.

I don't know why (and I may not remember specific episodes), but I just know these are ripping off SpongeBob.

"Medical Cat; Diggin'" Animation. Tom goes to the hospital; A girl is taken to the cemetery.

Here, we see yet another set of episodes that feature someone going to the hospital and someone dying.

"Gum; Rat a Tat-Tat" Animation, Comedy. (2005) Everyone asks Waffle to get them free from his "gummy" pet; The cats go inside a drum after they accidentally shrink themselves.

Oh yeah, remember the "Catscratch" episodes a while ago?? Yeah, nearly forgot about those, too.
I don't know why, but I just know the "Gum" episode is ripped off from a SpongeBob episode.

"Blushed Out; Diggin'" Animation, Comedy. Pho blushes when Swimmington makes fun of him; Dorothy leaves Cat Class to buy a yearbook.

Finishing things off with a "Pho and Mia" pair of episodes!!
First of all: I'm pretty sure this is Swimmington, not the knockoff you see here.
Second of all: It's okay if you blush, Pho. It's okay to have feelings for a boy. Who cares what others think? Embrace your pride.
Third of all: thank gosh it's finally finished. This flaming mess is a great way to send off my garbage dump of bad childhood fanfiction art.

Oh yeah, by the way, happy Memorial Day! It took about three weeks now to get this post together, and it's finally finished!
And yes, my one teacher finally updated my grades. 99 out of 100 points scored on my final essay and around 90-96% scored overall in that class. WOOT WOOT

The Kidcore aesthetic, feat. Lissie Issie Girl ☆

You know that feeling when you want to be a kid again?

I get that feeling a lot.

By no means am I an "age regressor"; I don't want to be an adult who acts like a kid, I literally just want to go back in time and be a kid again. Fortunately, I have an original character I can kind of live out that nostalgic feeling with, and that's Elisabeth "Lissie" Dawson.

picrew credit

Kidcore happens to be one of the aesthetics that define me, and I imagine that would apply to Lissie as well. It's themed around nostalgia, bright colors, and, well, cute, childlike themes. Stuff I liked when I was younger. And guess what, Lissie is just that, a cute little girl who likes colorful, fun, adorable things!

a collage featuring some of Lissie's favorite things!

As the collage above shows, Lissie likes a variety of things...

- Stickers! She just loves collecting them and placing them almost everywhere in her bedroom. She's even gotten her parents and brother involved in her sticker obsession and let her place them on some of their things. She says she just wants to "pretty up the world".

- Fun places! She especially loves going to playgrounds/parks and zoos with her family. She can spend hours upon hours just playing on the monkey bars/swings/slides and watching the animals in their enclosures.

- Sweets! She loves anything from ice cream to cupcakes to candies. Her favorite things to eat are anything her father bakes. Bonus points if they're decorated with lots of colorful, cute mini candies and frosting.

- Art! She's inherited her father's artistic talent and likes to use her crayons, markers, and paints (yes, stickers, too) to create lots of masterpieces. Many of her drawings are displayed around her home.

- Toys! She's not a fan of fashion dolls like Barbie, Bratz, etc. as you may think, but rather plush/stuffed toys and figurines (like Littlest Pet Shops). She also likes collecting playsets and making up stories as she moves them around their little worlds. Sometimes, she'll let her brother join in, too.

- Games/TV shows! Her internet/TV time is limited as it should be for many young kids, but she likes any media that involves cute/girly characters, like My Little Pony and Monster High. She'll watch the occasional educational animal show, too.
Fun fact, the image that is shown on the "E" is (I believe) from Neopets, and I could see Lissie getting into that game when she's a bit older. In fact, she'll play any of those "adopt a virtual pet and take care of it" games.

a collage showing examples of clothing/accessories Lissie might wear!

What would Lissie wear?

She'll wear anything as long as it's colorful and cute, honestly. When I was first developing her back in the day, she was OBSESSED with the color pink, but now, I think her favorite colors would be anything in a pastel shade (and pink just happens to be her favorite pastel). She's okay with bold/vibrant colors, though she'd probably use them a bit more sparingly when coordinating an outfit. Eye-bleeding colors are a no-no, she says.
She thinks rainbows are fun and will of course use her stickers (and even markers) to further personalize some of her clothing pieces. She LOVES charms and probably has a fairly large set of bracelets and necklaces (and later earrings when she's older). She likes to have patterns on her clothes - bonus points if there's a cute graphic of an animal somewhere on them.
As for hairstyles, she doesn't like anything complicated - simple braids/pigtails/ponytails will do, and she's perfectly fine with letting her curly hair down with no style at all. She'll accessorize with little pins/clips, headbands, and bows, and probably share them with her brother as well because she's discovered that he's taken a liking to them as well (to her surprise).
